"Encouraging Pastors,Equipping Pastors, Evangelizing the World"

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, throughly equipped for every good work.                                                          2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV

A Ministry designed to encourage and equip the local Pastor to be able to evangelize  the lost for Jesus Christ. Our mission is not to hold Big Crusades, but to Encourage and Equip the local Pastors who know the language and the customs to be able to reach the lost in his community and then disciple them to be Soul Winners also.

An ongoing need is Bibles. if you feel lead to give, 100% of what is donated is giving for what the funds are designated for (i.e. Bibles, building fund, pastor support, etc). no funds are used for personal use or to pay salaries.

Kenya 2014
Well, here I am getting ready to go to Kenya again for the 4th time in 5 years.  Sadly I will be going alone this time since Ric is no longer in the ministry. A page has been added for pictures of the building project. Regretfully we are about $50,000 short of finishing the project due to government red tape and price increase of building materials.
Some good news is that in January we will kick of a Bible school for pastors thanks to the help of Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church in Sabine County, Texas. They are footing the tuition bill for 10 people to take the 3 year course. We still need about $500.00 for a television set to be able to show the DVD's that the course comes on.  Any gift amount would be beneficial and not gift is to small (we already have a blue-ray player donated).

Operation Touchdown!
  • Wow! Operation Touchdown kicked off on September 11th and continued through October 25th. Lead Thy Way's International Director, Pastor Fred Kadima Netia arrived here from his home in Bulimbo, Kenya. Pastor Fred delivered the International Missions report, spoke to a host of Pastor's from the Sabine Valley Baptist Association, sharing with them the vision of Lead Thy Way Kenya, sharing also with them, the work that has been started in the last 3 years. Included in this report was the number of new pastors that have been ordained, the number of new church plants that have branched out from Western Kenya into Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and even one into the Muslim stronghold of Sudan.

During Pastor Fred's stay here in Texas, he was able to preach the gospel and share the mission work with many churches throughout East Texas and into Western Louisiana. Pastor Fred also shared the need for a ministry Headquarters, Church, and School. The plan was long term due to the overall cost of such an endeavor. The total cost was $8,759,990.00 Kenya Shillings which is equal to $100,000.00 US Dollars. But through God's grace and the open heart of one church "Hillcrest Baptist Church" in Jasper Texas. The total amount has been given to Lead Thy Way Ministries! (Update:: Due Due to some road blocks the project has ran about $50,000 over budget, If any chruch/individual would like to help with this project please get in touch with me)

Several churches and individuals have given from their heart to further the cause of Christ there in Africa. Please continue to pray for us, because this is not the end but only the beginning. There are many things that will need further support, Church sound system, pews and other church needs. The addition of Office furniture and office supplies, the need to furnish a commercial style kitchen, bedding supplies for at least 100 and the list goes on.
The plan right now is to lead a team back to Kenya in the summer of 2014. That team will consist of Pastors and teachers, Medical field personnel, and also an instructor for the deaf and hearing impaired. If you feel so lead to join us, please contact us ASAP!
But First and Foremost; Bath us in PRAYER!

  2013 Ministry Praise Report Update!

Praise the Lord we have acquired property! So when the funds become available we will be able to begin construction on the Christian Center / Bible School, the Orphanage and our Pastors home. This has been a major stumbling block, but our LORD has a way of turning "Stumbling Blocks into Stepping Stones."
Our second hurdle that we need to clear is the drilling of a freshwater well, that will not only provide freshwater for the Ministry Compound but also the surrounding Village as well. This precious commodity "Fresh-Water" that we here in the United States take for granted, is desperately  needed.
As you can see there are many steps that have to be accomplished and this is where you can help. First and foremost is PRAY and see how Our Heavenly Father would have YOU involved in this ministry. Secondly PRAY for us, for wisdom and knowledge.
Thirdly just  PRAY! All of our answers are found through PRAYER!
TO JEHOVAH GOD BE THE GLORY!

          Mission Possible : Kenya 2012
                      "The Report"

If we were to begin this Mission Report by saying that we had a good time... Well let me say that we had a "GOD Time". Going over to Kenya for the third time with an expectation of starting a Church Plant...well once arriving in Bulimbo Kenya we found that there has been 18 new churches planted and are thriving under the leadership of  precious pastors who were ordained last year. So with new direction of how to apply our resources, we are looking at the building of a Conference Center/Bible College where these men of God can continue their training with an Accredited Bible School. What these precious saints lack in physical resources they more than make up in their Faith.
So if you are looking for an opportunity to make an impact for the Kingdom of God you can continue to partner with us, or become a new partner as we plan in the coming year (2013) to break ground and begin construction.  Again we need your prayers and financial assistance.  If you would like to donate please send a check to the address on top or you can send a donation by using your credit card or through our PayPal account. I would like to issue an invitation to "Anyone" who would like to come and help in the construction of this facility. If you are looking for a vacation with great tourism this is NOT the place, but if you are looking for hard work and extreme conditions for the furtherance of the Gospel and building the Kingdom of God, then this is the place. If you are interested in going please get in touch with us.  We need more workers/teams to help harvest this great field.
As a side note, but not as a side note, we were able to deliver Bibles to many precious saints who have never owned a copy of God's Word. We were able to Baptize 60 new believers. We serve an Awesome God!

MISSION KENYA II (2011)

We had the privilege of helping ordain 68 pastors and baptize 18 including a Muslim who was converted during the trip, and handing out nearly 300 Bibles again this year.  Each ordained pastor received a new Bible and then we had New Testaments that we handed out to everyone else that was at the meetings.

Mission Kenya 2010

Again we would like to thank everyone that helped make last years mission  trip to Mumias,
Kenya a success and to all the donors that made this year's trip to Bungoma, Kenya possible. God provided all all the funds needed through His people.

Special thank you to the churches and their members who helped with

last years  project, they were:
New Hope Baptist Church- Milam, TX
Friendship Missionary Baptist Church- Hemphill, TX
Bragg's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church- Milam, TX
Hillcrest Baptist Church - Jasper, TX
Bro. Randy Smith - Freedom Frontline Ministries - DeRidder, LA
The Sabine-Neches  Baptist Area - Kirbyville, TX
and McGraw Graphics in Hemphill, TX for our Banner.

We were able to provide some formal training during a Pastor's and Leaders Conference, distribute over 300 Bibles, some to people who had never owned a Bible. The only sad note to the Bible Distribution is that we  ran out. The people over there are very poor, but they have a great faith  in God, sadly in America it is the opposite, we have great wealth, but little faith.
Again God bless all those involved in this trip.
Pastor Micheal

                                                                           Project India:

For Christmas 2010, Lead Thy Way Ministry was able to send a Love offering to help buy Bibles and Rice for a community in India.
